OVERVIEW
Crosstalk Collections is a full-service online consignment platform for women over 40. We accept quality clothing, outerwear, footwear, bags, and accessories made from natural fibers and genuine leather. We handle all photography, listing, pricing, selling, and shipping. You keep 50% of the sale price.

ACCEPTANCE STANDARDS
MATERIALS WE ACCEPT
Natural Fibers:
Linen, silk, cotton (quality construction), wool, cashmere, merino wool, alpaca, hemp, and natural blends of 95% or more natural fiber content.
Genuine Leather:
Full grain leather, top grain leather, suede, nubuck, and shearling. Genuine leather only—no faux or vegan leather.
MATERIALS WE DO NOT ACCEPT
Polyester, nylon, acrylic, rayon/viscose, faux leather, vegan leather, synthetic blends under 95% natural fiber content, or microfiber.

CATEGORIES WE ACCEPT
Clothing:
Tops, blouses, dresses, pants, skirts, knitwear, blazers, coats (natural fiber or genuine leather only).
Shoes & Footwear:
Genuine leather heels, flats, boots, sandals, and shoes. Quality canvas footwear from quality brands.
Bags & Handbags:
Genuine leather handbags, clutches, backpacks, and totes. Cotton canvas bags from quality brands. Natural straw/wicker bags.
Accessories:
Silk, cashmere, and wool scarves. Genuine leather belts and gloves. Natural fiber hats.
Swimwear (Selectively):
Natural fiber or sustainable brand swimwear in like-new condition only.

CONDITION STANDARDS
Grade A – Like New:
Unworn or worn once. No visible signs of wear. May still have original tags.
Grade B – Excellent:
Gently worn (2–5 times). No visible flaws, stains, or damage. Clean and ready to wear.
Grade C – Good (Accepted Selectively):
Worn regularly but carefully maintained. No stains or damage. Priced accordingly.
NOT ACCEPTED:
Items with stains, holes, tears, broken closures, excessive pilling, strong odors, or structural damage will be declined and returned at the consignor's expense.

THE CONSIGNMENT PROCESS
Step 1 – Apply:
Submit photos of your items via our consignment application form. We review all applications within 24 hours and notify you of acceptance or decline with clear reasoning.
Step 2 – Ship:
Approved items should be shipped within 7 days of acceptance. We provide a prepaid Canada Post shipping label via email. Items should be freshly laundered or dry cleaned before shipping.
Step 3 – We Handle Everything:
Upon receipt, we inspect, photograph, measure, price, list, market, sell, and ship your items. We handle all customer service and returns.
Step 4 – Get Paid:
You receive 50% of the final sale price. We notify you by email when each item sells. Payment is processed within 7 business days via e-transfer or store credit (store credit receives an additional 10% bonus).

PRICING
We research comparable sales and price items to sell within 30–60 days. Pricing decisions are made at our discretion based on brand, condition, and current market demand.
Items unsold after 60 days may be marked down by up to 20%. Items unsold after 90 days will be marked down further or offered for return. We will notify you before any significant price changes.

CONSIGNOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Before shipping, consignors are responsible for:
- Ensuring all items are freshly laundered or dry cleaned
- Accurately representing item condition in photos
- Shipping items within 7 days of acceptance
- Providing accurate contact and payment information

ITEMS WE CANNOT SELL
If items arrive that do not meet our standards (wrong material, poor condition, not as represented in photos), they will be returned to the consignor. Return shipping costs are the consignor's responsibility.

LOST OR DAMAGED ITEMS
We take great care with every item in our inventory. In the rare event an item is lost or damaged while in our care, we will compensate the consignor at 50% of the listed price. We are not responsible for items lost in transit to us—we recommend retaining your shipping receipt.
